One Pontiac owner from Finland decided to join in. I have Parisienne '62 2d HT which I bought recently and now I would like to know more about Canadian Ponchos. There are not so many Canadian Pontiacs in Finland after all.
My car (she has also a name, Lulu) has own "image blog" : http://kuvablogi.com/blog/7307/2/
And sorry for my bad english... I hope you can understand me
...that US Confederate flag is in our car only because it's one kind of symbol in Finnish Rock'n'Roll society Old rockers like to use it (and we like listen to rockabilly). But Canadian flag would actually be better In Finland old car enthusiasts are many times related to rock'n'roll music.
We are trying to discover the history of our car at the moment and I will tell you more about it later... One of the previous owners just told us that our Parisienne came to Finland as removal car from Canada in the middle of the 60's.
Previous owner told that our car is so called "sailor car" so one unknown sailor has brought our car to Finland. That's all we know about the history how our Pontiac came in to Finland so far. Some one crashed it in the 70's very badly and after this "Lulu" was rebuild to be a racing car (drag racing). After the racing career the owner turned "Lulu" back in to original appearance.
The interior of our car is quite original. Engine is 350cid Chevrolet sb (originally it was 283) and transmission is cast iron PG which is not original.
Since we produce as much oil as some of the sub-dollar/gallon countries, why isn't our fuel so cheap??
Here in Canada after costs of extraction, refining, shipping, all labour and taxes are added up, it's debatable if a litre of refined gas or oil is worth any more or less than the amounts available for purchase or sale?.

Nice car. I sold my 66' Parisienne Convertable to a guy who sent it to finland a few years ago.
Thanks! Maybe I will see your old car someday because there aren't so many old Parisiennes here in Finland after all.
Winter is coming quite soon so first we have to take our "Lulu" to yearly vehicle inspection so we can drive the next summer without any worries Brakes have been a little problem but I hope they are ok now.
