Welcome Scott, hey guys pass the word, I met Scott on another forum, A Body and let him know about our great site. He's got one rare Olympic Edition 76 LeMans in honour of the 76 Montreal Olympics.

Happy on Scott!
Great City Ottawa indeed. Was there two weeks ago picking up the inlaws at your airport...pure pleasure unlike PIA.
Cheers, mc

Welcome aboard from a fellow Ottawan.  I remember a 76 Olympic Edition Lemans being owned by a teacher at Laurentian High School back in 76/77.  Really like those cars... along with the Can Am's.

I sure do remember Carling Avenue in the 70's.  Do you remember "Panama Red" (the car) a wicked overpowered first gen Camaro?  What about that crazy V8 powered bug?  So many other cool cars too.

Sadly, there has been no Carling cruising in many, many years.  Maybe just as well.  Seems that Carling gets paved every few years and every spring there are still pot holes big enough to swallow a small car.

Pontiac1976 - thx for the kind words.  No, I haven't heard of any show n shine at a track.  Are you referring to Capital City or Luskville?

There is a small show n shine at Hazeldean Mall every Tuesday evening and the big one at Orleans Mall on, I think, Wednesday?  If anyone wanted to attend any local show it would be fun to meet up and put faces to names.

The wed night Orleans Mall,  one moved to wed night at horse track & "coin machine slots" I hear it bigger now then wed night was at Orleans Mall.  It's been there about a year  1/2 now I think or close to that. In the parking lot.
Sorry I can't think of the name I just call it the track. As to the Luskville drag way my car has been there a lot I used to race in the Semi pro point there but working on my GMC Truck so I have not raced in two year there now. Oh the 23 of Aug 2008 is going to be http://www.luskvilledragway.com/images/berserk.jpg
