What I did This afternoon...

Had a strange Clicking sound coming from under my car yesterday, almost like something was binding. It would only be heard when I was taking off from a light, and if I jerked the car left to right a few times, it would go away.  Today, thought I'd check it out...Heres what I found.....

Boy, I've sold a number of those in the past, but usually it was a bearing failure. I don't know if I've ever seen one broken like that.

How did the bearing feel? Could it have caused that?

The Bearing itself was mint, it still spun freely on the shaft, it was just rusted through on the bracket. I actually could've bought just the bearing, I'm glad I bought the whole assembly, or I woulda been a little peeved.
