These cast iron factory headers will be of interest to the purist restorer with a 72 Trans Am or GTO with the 455 HO engine. These are not new reproductions, they are factory stock exhaust manifolds removed from a 72 455 HO with 7F6 round-port heads. Very nice condition, no cracks, chips or dings, slight surface pitting on left manifold. The light brown around the ports is not rust, it is gasket sealant. The numbers are: 9799721-RH & 478141-LH. Can send additional photo's on request. My reason for selling? These manifolds will not clear the steering box & idler arm on my 68 Firebird so I had to replace these with aftermarket long branch manifolds. The word "rare" gets used too often these days in our hobby but there sure aren't many of these 72 HO specific factory manifolds left today in this condition and that haven't been ported or otherwise modified. Make me an offer.
