Parts needed

Hi , my friend is looking for a "centre link" for a 1968 Parisienne. The car has power steering and a small block v8. Any info as to where we might find one would be appreciated, Thanks.

aren't '69-'70 center links different than the '65-'68 c/links?

My post was not a suggestion of the best place to get one. Only showing that they were available. I called my favorite parts store and my contact wasn't in to get his suggestion.
I know some of the specialty shops are very expensive, even for things that you can get locally.

It's wasn't a easy item to source when I needed one.
I don't think they're being produced new, just rebuilt from old forgings.
Perhaps you can actually get them locally now.

Thanks alot for your help folks. My buddy got a hold of Impala Bob and they've been very helpful . He's doing some double checking on the length and such, 'cuz you're right , they aren't giving these things away. he figures with shipping, taxes and everything 350-400 bucks. But he's happy he found one. Thanks again!!

Perhaps there is a place locally that could rebuild your existing link? I'd check the classifieds in Old Autos. I'm sure someone could do that much cheaper.
