Car is still for sale. Owner wants me to phone him. I'm waiting until I hear back on a quote from Sea-Rail. hmmm...drive it or part it? Lots of good spares on that one...

That rottweiler is looking at the car and thinking with the low miles and being that sedan roofs are the same, what a perfect candidate to turn into a one of none '69 2 Dr. Post car!.
Maybe your hot small block is staying where it is Todd and you've found a new home for the Mk1V?!

Hmmm.. that would be interesting. There's a couple of threads over at Jalopyjournal.com where a couple of guys have been converting 4 doors to 2 doors. Lot's of work but the results are impressive.
Why not a Parisienne convert? Take all the badges off the 4 door and make a 1 of 1 Laurentian vert? http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-classic-cars-1969-Pontiac-Parsienne-Convertible-W0QQAdIdZ67167138

Well I'm no pro but it didn't take that long.......
I had emailed Sea Rail before you sent me the quote and they replied with $1500. Is Ross with Sea Rail? If so I wonder why the difference? 67BBSD wrote:
Thanks Boss, lengthened the front door, took care of the rear door seam, extened the side molding, moved the post back one foot and got a nice set of Rally II's. Didn't cost a cent !
Yes it does...can you shorten the 1/4 window and stretch the door?.
And try the Penner Group on for shipping Todd...they travel this direction empty sometimes also may be up for less than their quote if you're not needing it done right away?.

As I said I'm no pro. I stretched the door as much as I could from the original photo but I'll take a crack at a little more stretch using this new photo. I'll put my new effort up later this evening.
It just proves it could be done though, great idea Ghost !
