by your guys calculations, my 65 was one of the very 1st cars made on the last day of production. @90 cars a day, 8,910 65s were made. 8910 minus the 90 puts her right in there, one of the 1st cars, last day of production. my date code for 65 is.......should I tell

I'm new to posting, I've been around the board for a year, though. I just got looking at the production numbers for 1965 Beaumont Custom convertible L6 cars, and realize I have one of them. I bought mine in 1978 in rough condition, had it all fixed up by '89, and am redoing it again now. When I bought it, it had a Carter Motors plaque on the trunk lid, so it probably was sold new out of Winnipeg.
Thanks, Carl. It has a build date of 2-2-1, Paint D, Trim 961, C06TP, 10M35. Other than the power steering, and power roof, it was pretty plain. I added a big block, turbo 400, buckets, and a factory tach I got off E-bay. I just finished scraping all the original undercoating off, and redoing it. I am now in the process of putting it back together.
I got my GM info today. Canadians seem to be a lot quicker than finns. I haven't received info from the Finnish Vehicle registry, so I still don't know when it came to Finland etc. I think it'll take another two weeks.
Intersesting that it is from canada(produced for sale in canada that is). Not one of the # produced for overseas sale. It would be a lot less if it was. Very cool.
If it was built for overseas shippment we would see weird options such as: Spray tarp, Right hand rule headlight aim, etc.
Very cool car!

since were on topic ,can anyone tell me more about 69 sd figures,i hear 43,is that total ?or just 2 door hardtop?,i always wonder about the 69 sd 2 door sedans?
The GM docs for my 69 SD 350hp and paperwork from 3 other 69 SD 350hp cars all state: 43 of model 73437 and 73427 cars built with this engine. The 43 number includes all hardtops and post cars. Does anyone have the number for 325hp cars built?
Hi guys, I'm new to this forum, but have been a watcher of the Beaumont cars for years. I've recently gotten the itch to find a restorable 69 SD 2Dr Post Sedan. Has anyone seen one or have documents on any?
hey all, just joined. i have a 68 beaumont but i am having trouble finding info about the car with the vin# any suggestions? the car now has bucket seats and a v8. but i don't know if that is orginal or not?
Hi All, I am brand new to the site, but have loved Acadians and Beaumonts since I was a kid. I just picked up a 68 Beaumont Convertible project and have been researching the production figures on your site, which is well layed out by the way. I also sent away to GM for the vehicle info. The first interesting thing I found is that your production figures for all 68 beaumonts shows 14420, but my car which has a build date of June 25, 1968 has a vin number of 14784, could it be that there are no recorded vehicles prior to now above 14420? that leaves 363 vehicles unacounted for plus probably a few built after june 25. Also my info from GM Vintage shows 47 convertibles built with L73 250 HP 327 (models 13667 and 73667). So I wonder how many of the 47 were actually Chevelles not Beaumonts.

anyone know how many 4 speed 67 Beaumont Convertibles were made ? specifically just heard about a 67 Custom Convertible 327 4 speed car probably the 270 Hp 327
Interesting. I don't see '66 Beaumont station wagon production numbers, nor do I see any '66 Beaumont wagons in the registry. Is there much known about these? Do we know of any that still exist?...

I'm envisioning a '66 Beau wagon with a BB hood and SD trim. How cool would that be?
The reason I ask is that a buddy may know someone who has two wagons. (Hoping to find out more...)
