We were in Winnipeg tonight at Canadian Tire on Regent, right where the Toys R Us show is each year. When we pulled on to go west, we travelled all the way down to the bridge at the west end of Nairn but couldn't get stopped beside this car. It's a medium to dark aqua, 65 Canso Sport Deluxe 6 cylinder car. It has aqua interior and the plate is "65 CANSO". Does anyone know this car? I would really like to meet the owner and get a good look at it. The car looks beautiful, and what I saw of it had every proper piece of 65 SD trim.

Yes Topolinos are Fiats.. My friend Curly who passed away about 10 years ago held a few world records w/ his car running SBC & Hemis.. Many here may remember his famous car w/ Karbelt Speed & Custom sponsorship...ran for a short while w/ the Drag Dimensions paint too.. I've heard in recent years that the car is supposedly found and being restored..
