1970 WS 400 BLOCK.... what is it worth ?

Hello,
I have a 1970 WS 400 block. I hope it will take a 30 over and pass magnaflux !
Having said that, does anyone have a general idea of the going rate for a cleaned and mag'ed WS ?
Thanks .

The way things have been, I would think it's worth all of that thousand.

The way things seemed to be headed as far as how stuff is selling on ebay, it may not be worth that in a while. Prices seem to have peaked for now at least.

My guess is there is someone out there who has a good paying job and is willing to pay you at least that for it.

I agree, 1000$ is what it's worth, I had one in the early 2000s and the good news is that they are 4 bolt mains thick casting blocks ie. no problems going .060" over. They have thicker cylinder walls than 455's.
