New 1971 Acadian project, also new member.

Hi just purchased a 1971 Acadian 2 dr last weekend for a project to add to my collection of projects. Was surfing the web for info/parts and found this site. It has been helpful in providing me info about some of the history of the Acadian. I currently have a few cars and trucks in my storage barn, built by the General of course, in various stages. Actually too many!! But hey, it is all in fun right?biggrin

Yes indeed, I saw that car for sale, it was in Ontario, Oshawa area I believe, am I correct?

Looks like a good platform. Have you decided on how you will build it yet?

Welcome Jeff!.

I liked that one when it was on Kijiji too...but thought it was in the Kingston/Belleville area?.

Has anyone checked what parts this guy is getting rid of?.

Hi, thanks guys. Yes the car came from north of Belleville, Madoc to be exact. Decent car. Needs trunk pan, but solid in all the right areas. Plain jane, radio delete, no lighter, had rubber mat etc. Emailed the guy with parts he said he had nothing left, all parts sold he wanted rid of. Will post pics of fleet at later date.
