That's not the same saying we used to use. I think it used to be A$$, gas or gr^ss.
Is this a sign of us all getting old?

You don't have one from Gordon Motors in Bracebridge to you Carl?

Yup, and it's my fridge magnet. Every time I open the door to get my mug out of the freezer for a tall glass of Coke I'm grateful for it Carl.  Thanks!

Love em, just wish I had enough cars to use them on. I always like the KERR crown, that's a Hog Town (well Oakville) dealer.  thumbsup.gif

Thanks for the kind offer. Which ones were Chevrolet Dealers? I might know someone who might need one of those.

I have heard that Marvin Starr is going out of business in the next month or 2. It's scary, we lost Bob Johnston Chevrolet in March, and about 2 weeks ago we lost Jim Davidson Chrysler (a 5-star dealer in business since about 1949). Alex Irvine Chevrolet packed up about 2 years ago, becoming strickly a GMC dealer and moving out of town. I remember Robertson Chev-Olds (Old Reliable) on the Danforth in Toronto closing down around 1991 after 50 years.

I would love to find a Wills Motors (Caledonia) dealer emblem for my '67 Chevelle. There were 2 different Wills Motors about 15 miles apart. Wills Motors in Binbrook may or may not still be around, but Wills Motors, Caledonia, was sold in 1979 and became Dennis Searles Chevrolet.

LMP (London Motor Products) had a twin in Hamilton (HMP) that was owned by the parents of a schoolmate of mine. They are still in business but have moved out of downtown Hamilton at Bay and Main up to highway 20 & 53.

Kerr is still very much around. My older brother's friend is head service advisor (or mechanic, I haven't heard lately).

I used to get showroom posters at the end of the model year from Douglas Pontiac Buick Cadillac (owned by Doug Leggat), but GM said he owned too many dealer franchises and he sold it. It then became Ainslee Hogan Pontiac Buick Cadiillac.

I heard the same thing on Friday from a GMAC insider. GMAC is actually putting them out of business because they can't get enough financing to give all the dealer's financing on their inventories anymore. When the dealers go looking for external finanacing they can't get it either.
