I have heard of cross canada parts, but I haven't seen any parts for the older bonneville/parisiennes. What parts could you interchange though or come close to, for lets say the quarter panel and fenders. The tempest? or is that a lot smaller?

Carl is this your car? http://www.dragtimes.com/images/14192-1966-Pontiac-.jpg
Found it at drag times.com

The reason why I asked this question was because I found a cheap parts car 1966 strato cheif and (I really liked the 66 versions of pontiacs) so I searched google images and found that I wanted to get this 66 stato cheif parts car and make it sort of a street/strip car and make it similar to the one in the picture except in black, but it needs a lot of work, most likely quarters, fenders, and probably floors, but its hard to find the parts.

Don't buy a Canadian 69' Mike unless it has a good body.
Only the floors are available. No panels, and except for the valances, USA Catalina/Bonny sheet metal will not work.

Mark.

Cross Canada 65-66 quarter patch panels are not very accurate.Best bet is a western /US car body.US Catalina outer skins are the same but all mounts different because of our Canadian underbody. You can use the outer Catalina fender skins and swap in the Canadian re-inforcements ( doing this now on my 61 ) but you had better know how to mig or tig weld. I have even used 4 door quarters if only the wheel opening and behind is needed.

Good luck, Bill.

Not sure if this is where my bodyman got the rear quarters for mine but they were not real good quality or fit.   Also the only aftermarket I have seen are only the lower half section: only from the crown down.  With some metal artwork however, the end result is great.

1965CS,

Used a pair on my friends 66 and ended up cutting them off. The wheel opening area contours were real bad on the panels we got. Ended up using quarters off a Iris Mist 65 Parisienne 4 dr. Yeah I know I cut an Iris Mist code car but I did keep the hood for posterity. Also the front and underneath was rotten. Sat in a dirt floor garage for about 20 years.

Bill.
