It would make sense, to put in the antenna anyway, instead of stocking a delete windshield.. My Grandson was looking, for antenna on my 71 Ventura, and was amazed to "see" it in the glass lol
I don't have one now but our 70 2dr post Tempest had the plate. Car had basically a 350 and huge wide ovals as options, rubber floor was standard. As I recall there was an arrowhead emblem on the delete plate.
By 1970 the intergrated antena was going in all windshields so it was easier for GM to build them that way. My dad worked for Phillips Electronics so we never got a factory radio, all he did was get one from the employee store and it hooked right into the windshield antena. Got a reverberator for that car too!
