Radium Car Show Photos

Here are some samples from the show. I've posted the rest on my site. http://sdp.exposuremanager.com/g/gm

Here is a link to the official site with some great photos from the air at last years show
http://radiumcarshow.com/

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this part of the world, Radium is a small town in the Columbia Valley about 3 hours West of Calgary. The car show is held on the driving range of the Radium Springs Golf Course which is a great venue.

The neat thing about the show is the number of cars you see on the street before and after the show. Radium has a population of about 750 and this year the number of cars at the show exceeded that figure by about 1/3. My wife and I sat on the patio of the local ice cream shop Saturday Night and watched all these great cars coming and going.

There is also a cruise following the show to another town called Invermere which is South of Radium. Invermere is only 12 miles away and the locals sit along the side of the road watching all the cars drive by. A quick loop of the town and everybody heads back to Radium.

Made for a fun weekend.

Great pics and very cool cars!
Thanks for taking the time to share the pics!!!

The Radium BC thing rang a bell w/ me...this may help someone here so keep it in mind..

Last summer I had a customer in who was a good fella that lives in Radium but has a cottage here in Ontario..
The great thing is he usually drives his Dodge dually here at least once a year and when I asked, he told me he's up for transporting something or towing a trailer either direction if he doesn't have his own hooked on..
Seemed like a real reasonable guy who's more interested in help recovering his fuel costs than making big dough on the deal..
The only stipulation is if it's a car or something large needing a trailer, he want's to pull up and hook on to a strapped down & ready to go U-Haul or private trailer and whoever's on the recieving end needs to pay the agreed amount in cash and take care of the U-Haul return or whatever else is necessary from there..
I'm not gonna lay this guys info on here but if someone has a car or parts they need dragged accross the country at a reduced rate, PM me and I'll lay the guy's contact info on them..

Todd...this may be the answer to shipping that '69 Laurentian home from Saskatoon!.
Sorry I didn't remember of this guy before...must be the aluminum cookware?confused.

That 59 is a buddy that I know.  Its a Parisienne, that made its way to the USA, and he bought it and brought it home to Canada. It was an original 6 cyl auto car, that now has a 283 auto.
The hardtop is his other car.

Nope. Phone reception isn't that good so if he tried to call me there is no guarantee the call would get through. Did I get a photo of his car? I heard not everyone got in.
