But isn't the Chevelle lens colored and the Beaumont lens clear?

Was there not someone in BC who did them, or was that only for Acadians?

Over the years there has likely been a lot of mixing around but as far as I know, Beaumonts and Acadians always had clear, Chevelles and Novas had colored.

And as always, I gladly accept correction if I'm wrong!

I think they are unique to Beaumont. I wish it wasn't so...

A search found this old thread - but I thought it might be worth resurrecting.

I see NPD (National Parts Depot) lists both amber and CLEAR parking lamp lenses for 1964 and 1967 Chevelles.   The price per pair is listed as $37.95 for the '64's and $53.95 for the '67's.

I am not certain that these are a direct interchange with the Beaumonts, but I believe they are.

Does anyone know if the 67 lenses would fit on a 66 Beaumont?

Check with Trim Parts. I had talked to them a couple years ago about getting them to run some clear 68 lenses. The deal fell through but I think they ran a few clear lenses for a couple other years. See the link below to see if these are what you need.

Are these lenses '67 chevelle or '67 beaumont ? I tried the '67 chevelle clear lenses fron N.P.D. on my '67 beaumont and they did NOT fit. If you have '67 beaumont lenses I would like both front and rear. Please advise.

The chevelle lens and the beaumont lens are EXACTLY THE SAME!!!!!

only difference is that the beaumont is clear, chevelle is amber

If you look at genuine original GM lenses, they have 2 part numbers on them and clearly state "amber" for one # and "clear" for the other #

If you have a problem fitting new lenses, you either have the wrong buckets, or the aftermarket stuff is crap.

Hi Dale. Question - Why could you not supply complete assemblies in clear if they are in fact inter-changable like Beaumontguru says ???
