I own a 1972 LeMan's 350 2/bbl chev block, 2dr hdt. #43 Springfield green, with green bench interior. Low mileage 72,000 but under going a frame on restoration for about 5 years now. Yes 5 years, young family no money you guys know what I mean. I am closing in on it though, will be driving it next spring. It required extensive body work ( quarter skins, door repairs, fender patches, sail panel work, lower dash panel repair, rear window deck lid replacement, trunk lid patches, floor work, rad support repair and a complete custom set of seat covers) that's what is done to date. Currently working on a few pin holes in trunk floor fuel tank support rail area and a new replacement tank.
Greeting and salutations, we require picts please. green on green, my grandfather had a malibu with that colour combo. any plans for drivetrain or original because of the price of gas?
Welcome to the site. I have the same problem with no money and young kids at home.
Hey fellas I have news for you, it does not get any better. Two tuitions for University and tossing the last one in High school 20 bucks per day for whatever, put gas in their car that I bought, pay the insurance on their car that I bought, dress them in all the latest designer clothes, trips to Europe and then feed the eating machine, 19 year old Jr. goes through 4 litres of milk per day! That's $1,456.35 on milk alone!!!! Oh ya they have jobs but that's their money, lol.
Wow! Trip to Europe. Can I come and live at your house? LOL
Actually Daughter#1 has been twice, son once and daughter #2 once, that's 4 European vacations. Everyday is like Christmas at my place but for some reason my wife calls me Scrooge.
Youngest just called, "Daddy, I am going out for dinner with Jess, Al and Anna"
Me - "How Much Money do you need?"
Youngest - "Twenty dollars please daddy, Oh but tomorrow I am going to the movies with Paige."
Me - "How Much Money do you need?"
Youngest - "Twenty dollars please daddy"
Me - " Ask you Brother" Hahah.
So Bad TempR, If you can gut the grass and shovel snow I am sure I can find a place for you..... and bring the Tempest too!
So 73SC if I get this right I can do all that fun stuff (Europe/dinners/movies) and just have to cut the grass and a couple odd jobs? Heck I work all week here and cant go out for dinner or a movie so this sounds great. LOL. Kids today are so much smarter then us at times.

It gets even worse when I add in the western hemishere travel, heck my wife and two daughters copped the Caddy and headed to New York for a shopping extarvaganza before Christmas, there was another shopping trip to Montreal in the spring then to Argentina and Montevideo just for fun in May.
I hear I'm booked for West Palm Beach in November...I guess there is an outlet mall there.

My 5 year old girl already does the shopping spree with mom, she has to look good for grade 1. Thanks now I know what I spend on milk a year I don't know if I'll ever get the 455 on the road now.
Here is my website address, http://home.cogeco.ca/~kleahy13/index.htm there is a page break I have to fix but it does show the first few years of work. I have many more pages to construct showing my progress to date and will this fall once the weather stops my work on the car. I have been energized as I get closer to being done. I have a few pics here for you guys tonight. The paint is not as good as it looks, the orange peel in the clear is deep. I have cut it twice and it still needs more next spring before the polishing.
