Nice car Scott. How is the car today? I have a Oshawa built Tempest. Sure is cool to have a pic from when your car was new. Did you get some of the original documentation with yours? I lucked out and got that even with the protecto plate.

Welcome. Like to see some present day pictures of your goat. Nice to have that 69 stripe as an option.

The car is in pretty good shape, the interior is in decent shape, showing some wear here and there.Ive only put about 6000 miles on it in the last 22 years, pretty sad, heh?I had it painted in 87' and still has the same paint. The engine has never been rebuilt ,still standard gm inards except for cam and timing chain.Still has the same spiral shocks up front which i guess are originals.Had some t3 headlights but now are all halogen.
I called and got some paperwork from pontiac back when pontiac themselves still did it for free, just gave them the vin #.Didnt know i could get additional info from canada on the car ??It had the owners manual in the glove box that had the original purchaser and address.I called and the guy gave me his daughters phone # because that who it was bought for and he thought she could best give me any info on it.
The original carb 7040267 was gone when i bought it,has a 68' olds manual carb right now, looking for a correct carb sometime.
I tried to post a current pic but it was taking forever, have to try later.

Will GM of Canada supply our usual documentation if the car was sold new in the US?  I thought they could only do that if it was sold new in Canada.

Good question. I thought as long as it was built OR sold in Canada but I could be wrong..
