I cant remember if I posted any photos of the most recent purchase.. So.. here are a few pics of the Wreck I picked up.
1965 Acadian Beaumont SD
factory V8 (283)pwr glide, pwr top, pwr steering, pwr brks.
from what I was told (if I had a dollar..) the engine and tranny are rebuilt, the frame was blasted and painted..  The body.. well.. yep.. it's a project.
the warranty card is still with the car (purchased in Duncan BC) and the numbers match the engine.. which is why I bought it.  So.. I'll have one of the convertibles for sale some time in the not too distant future.. I just have to decide which one is the keeper.

It looks like a project but at least you know what you have. Is the body solid?

hmmmm.. yes and no.. it's the usual suspects for sure (trunk, rear mounts, 1/4s etc..) But the guy I bought it from didnt like the patch panels available for the floor.. so he cut out an entire floor from another car and welded it in.. so the factory hole for the console is there, but the rear console mount is not.. also the bucket seat mounts are not.. I saw the original floor parts when I picked up the car and forgot to grab them when i left.. so I hope the get them sent out to me for the proper seat mounts again.
Its a basket case..

Let me know if you want me to pick them up and store them. I'm going up Island in the next couple weeks. I have ten acres of room to store them. Doesn't matter when you pick them up.idea
