My 1972 Pontiac Lemans 400 finally made it home !

I picked up my car from my friend's garage in Winnipeg, last saturday with CAA and got it towed to my home in Elie. All I had to pay for, was the temporary insurance on the car. Now it is time to continue working on my restoration project. Soon the rear bumper, gas tank, 12 bolt rearend and cordova roof will be coming out of the car.

Your garage is small pascal, but at least you have one!

It's a shame the Bonny can't be brought back,
but I'm sure some very nice parts will come out of it, to help ressurect other projects!wink

Space problem ? Maybe the 50's, 60's and 70's cars are a little bit bigger than 80's-90's and 2000's cars LOL. I can fit at least fit 8 of these big old poncho's in my driveway and garage, I just tucked them away neatly so the neighbors don't think I have a scrapyard. These parts car still have wheels on them and can be moved.

You are thinking Chrysler Cordoba, cordova is the proper term for vinyl roof.

I was under my Bonneville a while ago and the frame is so rotten, the transmission crossmember came off on the driver side, it's just hanging loose now. LOL

You might suggest to Astro Jet (Laurentian) or seventy2plus2 (2+2) that the green Bonneville bumper would look good on a green 70 Canadian car.

Good to see you got the 72 home. After seeing all the pic's of Carl's garage, it sure makes yours look small.biggrinbiggrin
All joking aside.....It's great to see your car in a garage at your own home.

 Hey 427Carl,

It looks like your garage is the same size as mine ie. 14'x22' ? My Lemans won't be moving out any time soon it will be wheels less pretty soon and on wooden blocks. My beater Honda Civic can stay outside for all I care !

Carl, Thanks for the kind offer ! Pascal
