Don't crush em', Just bury them in your back yard

Just got back from the shreader.  Scrap prices are down!!!! i mean way down!!!!
this past summer it was 200 dollars a ton

Today it was only 15 dollars a ton

Wow down that much since the markets went to heck about a month ago.

I only got 15 dollars for my 67 chevelle parts car.  good thing i saved every useable part on it!

Yike, well i guess plumbing in buildings has a chance of being safe...unless prices are still good for copper.

I was talking to a guy today that said the gates at the yards in Hamilton are closed. They don't want any scrap. People around here will take the cars for free but they have to be dropped off at their yard. If they have to come and get them they will charge you for the pick up.

Well anyone in winnipeg have a backhoe?? Looks like I'm burrying the 67 wagon. LOL. Might have to take it to the farm and burry it next to the 68 Impala that my dad burried 30 years ago????

This could be my chance. I know someone looking for a 64-67 rolling A body frame. It can be junk, just need to be able to make it a roller. Can be Chevelle, Beaumont, Cutlass, Skylark, whatever.

Frame was cracked in half below the door hinge though, if that is any consolation.
