See i wondered that. But i'm thinking big mistake to have a pic with license plate showing. Someone could easily track that down. Doesn't matter now, shows that it's sold.
It's a scammer for sure. That car is way too nice for that kinda money.
I'm not singling you out Earl but this is why the guy with the $60,000 so far, 63 SD Tempest put his description up like a country bumpkin. If he had put it up for say $50,000 starting and described it accurately all we wold have heard is scammer, fake etc... He was smart and let the buyers prove what he has.
No question this Firebird looked great for 4 G's but maybe the guy needed $4,000 fast to get CRA off his back or something else like that.
Maybe, somewhere, somewhat, somebody still is uneducated or doesn't know the real value of their cars. He might have been an older original owner..who knows ? I wish I could find a 65 GTO at that price...everybody knows the little old lady's story of the husband who passed away and sold the musclecar gem for dirt cheap or barn find. I am sure there are still the odd great deals out there, that's what makes my hobby so interesting, It's like searching for gold everyday and everywhere.
