I agree Todd, I always liked that model too. They ran these on the Winston Cup NASCAR circuit for a couple of years, 86/87. Buddy Baker and Bobby Allison to name two big names. Same goes for the Delta 88.

According to THIS SITE only 5389 T-Types were made in 1989. How many are Canadian spec? Well worth the asking price.

They make a good winter car for all the Grand National guys. Now they are getting rare and ALMOST worth saving?

And true to GM's corporate philosophy they run the now discontinued bullet proof 3.8 V6. That and the Small Block Chevy have to be their two best engines ever, and Oh ya small block long since discontinued too. cry

The 3800 seen a lot of lives since it's early 60's intro, but nothing surpasses the SBC for numbers

Don't they have the crappy rear calipers that have to be dismantled and cleaned every 2 months?

Years ago I looked at a black one of those. However, I had front wheel drive-o-phobia then and I still do today. Just can't get over it. They are cool cars though.

I don't think the H bodies had rear disc brakes back then. I had front-drive phobia too Carl but I'm over it. Now if my transmission does go on my Buick I'll have the fear back!

If i had some extra money floating around i'd probably grab this car. It would fit in nicely with my odd ball T/A. And i notice it's got a power driver's seat, just like the T/A. These i've thought are nice looking cars. They've got a no nonsense, straight forward clean look.

No rear disc brakes on this car.

Guys, there is no RWD V8 car out there that can come anywhere close to the traction and safety of a FWD car in a Canadian Winter. I have never got stuck driving a FWD car of any description, whereas I regularily have to shift into auto 4 wheel or 4 wheel Hi to get my Suburban going. It does OK in 2 wheel with second gear start, but way too much power & torque if left to start in first. Wagging the tail of a 3 ton beast is a bit daunting. fear.gif Stopping it is even worse. no.gif
