Our old desktop PC is about to be retired. It's the only machine we have with Photoshop. I need version 5.0 or newer for my laptop. Anyone out there who perhaps upgraded to the latest version that  has an older one to sell?

let me see what i can do.I have 5 somewhere and i have photoshop cs2 on my laptop if I can figure out how to copy it for ya.Let me search my discs and see what i can come up with.
