I took the liberty of swiping out of beaumontguru's post elsewhere to start a new one here for us:

65 Canso SD V8 71837 274 correct
66 Canso SD V8 71837 552 144 w/L79
67 Invader V8 wagon 100 produced
67 Acadian SD 370 but not sure if that is 6cyls or V8
66 or 67? Invader 6cyl wagons 325 produced

68 Acadian SS 71427 691 built (prod plant willow run Mi.)
70 Acadian SS 71427 1282 built also Willow run (1282 for all V8 cars including 307) see post below this.

The 1282 for the 1970 cars is for ALL V8 cars, 307, 350 2 bbl and the 350 4bbl cars, not just the SS cars according to my build sheet from GM.

Thanks Graymond.

Aren't you on Steve's Nova Site as well?

Yes I am. I spend more time over there, but come here to check out the Canadian side of things, eh?

I have always thought the Acadians were just nicer cars than the Chevy II and Novas. One of my parents friends had a 65? Acadian wagon. She drove it forever. A guy in my home town had a black 69 with massive Mickey Thompsons and a mean 454. This was back in the mid 70's when the best gas you could get was 87 octane.

If you need anything else from my build sheet, just let me know.

Ray

After I did this, a much nicer Acadian production "sticky" was added to the top of the page, so maybe we should get this thread closed and add any information there if possible.
