I received an e-mail from the seller saying that $16,900 is the current price, but they'd knock another $1000 off if I didn't want the wheels & tires in the picture. They are getting warmer, but they still have a way to go on the price.
I actually think it is a cool car. It does look to be in good shape judging by the marginal and small pictures in the ad.
Now, back to the original topic of this thread

Even at $15,900 that is still US dollars and at current exchange rates puts you at about $21K in Canuck bucks and then you still have to get it home. He is not even close to being warm in my opinion.

I have to set the record straight. The 76867-Parisienne 2+2 8cyl 2 door convertible was not a Parisienne, but it was just a 2+2. The 2+2 became its own model the in 1968.
Fred: I see you have 39 396 cars for the 67 parisienne 2+2 model convertible. Thats probably 39 396 4spd convert. 2+2 , right Rick ? You can add 13 2+2 4spd 427 convert 2+2 cars in there too if you like. Maybe Rick knows if George checks the engines or engine/transmission combos when he gives this info out ?? All I know is he put less than 13 on my build sheet and that seems weird too. Why not put the actual number ??
The number 39 for 396 4 speed is all 2+2's, hardtop and convertible as per George. So far I have seen one hardtop and my convertible. Other than Elroys car, I have not stumbled on any other 4 spd cars, unless Elroy's is not the red convertible I heard was around Kindersley Sask.

Remember, "The Government" only has money confiscated from us.
I asked George that question on mine and he said he only checks for the model of the car he is investigating. i.e. 76767 in my case. He would not tell me the total number of 427s or 4spd Bbodies when I asked. Hey I see your car does have M20 on the firewall plate. I took a pic of it when I was there and mine is stamped in a different place. Yours is at the bottom with your options like power windows , you lucky bum A31....etc etc. I can post the pic but you may not want that ??

Howdy, I just had George Z check out my Gimli acquisition. It's a model number 76437 (Parisienne 8 cylinder 2dr sport coupe) and he tells me 12,930 were made. I assume this would include all 8 cylinder custom sport hardtops as well as there is no breakout for custom sports in 1966.
Hey, Grande Jim told me a while ago that he had his 1966 Grande Parisienne 4 door hardtop checked out by GM and they told him production on that model was 1200.
Might be worth adding to the production numbers. Another part of the puzzle in place.
Hi...got some numbers here from my tag on the firewall 76439...figured that from the list..beside it is 2-12-23 body numbers os 727112 paint 9 LL Trim 544 then at the bottom of the tag D99
A couple of clarifications Fred> The 290 67 GP 2dr hardtops with buckets is actually 290 had blue buckets trim no 517 ( I have that build sheet thanks to Dave and his car)
Also the mention on the 67 2+2 converts is this : The 39 M20 396 cars is all 2+2 models ragtops and coupes, and the 13 M20 L36 427 cars is also for all 2+2 ragtops and coupes.
