Nice car Carl. Couldn't you bring that one home? I'd like to have it even though it's not a Pontiac.

Looks pretty good.  I always liked those 68 trunk emblems - no mistaking what it is!  What's the history behind this car Carl?  Is it an original NB car?

My friend Scott and I have both been thinking about getting one of these. He seached a few out in the U.S. at swap meets. It's a back burner idea as we both have way too much on the go, and he is starting a resto on an old Mopar muscle car in Jan. I've got a few too many cars now, so I gotta downsize.
Makes a nice avatar, Carl

If that car had of been in the Halifax area new I would definitley remember it. A guy in high school got one of them in '71. It was a convertible SS427, same colour scheme, 4 spd, hood. Minus the '74 SS emblems on the front fenders. Besides it would have rusted away to nothing by now. The salt air ate those cars up big time!

That is one sweet car for the money, I can't believe it is still available as well.  I guess the economy really is having an effect on the collector car hobby.cry

After spending a week, with my friends, at Old Gold restorations in N.B.
I decided to keep my Ventura II for a while longer, until the market gets better

I heard and watched, as a fellow ordered parts for his 72 Nova...  new floor and trunk and quarters and fenders and door skins  $5000,00!  pay to have parts installed and add paint and you have a 12,000.00 painted shell with no driveline, interior, suspension, exhaust wheels trim and on and on

The 68 426 SS is getting a donor shell  It was ordered from a guy named Wayne R who sells southern cars on Old Autos  No photos  just his word   $7000.00 later and this is the doner angered.gif  floors and trunk rotted out and right rear quarter screwed...  He said in a phone call that he must have miseed the damage  lol   buyer beware....
