I have seen a ton of mixed car trims but these are unfortunately Canadian only cars. I have 65 chevelle parts to trade if need be , eg.. brand new dash, rust free hoods, ss hub caps, and a brand new grill. A chevelle guy might of gutted a 65 sport deluxe beaumont for chevelle reasons and acquired trim. I found a 65 SD that a chevelle guy had cut the rear quarters off and took the frame for a restoration. It still had sd emblems on it. I hope to luck into a set of chrome for my car. Let me know if you have any leads. Thanks
I need the same trim. Also looking for any SD emblems, the acadian letters for the trunk, front park light lens's. Any info REALLY appriciated. I rescued an original black on red 65 SD being transformed into a chevelle! Thanks bud
I'm about halfway. No time. I'll get some pics done. It's painted, frame is finished, body back on, drive train complete except some engine details. Put in the vintage air kit. Hopefully some more people order interior kits from me so I can get mine on order. Ordering the glass & wiring kits tommorow. The guy I bought it from was a rookie, and a bit young, so got frustrated trying to do too much, and too much $$. These things arn't cheep, and I'm in the business! We supply almost every part you put on a resto, as long as someone makes it. (Beaumont, Acadians are tough) How about you and your car? Bud
Frame off assembled body, painted with the drive train done. Installing the dash and wiring right now with the weather stripping and top to follow. It' a 6cyl sport deluxe rag that I built as a 350 4spd ( no harm, no fowl, who would want a 6cyl power glide car). All stock looking with stock trim. You need a fleet of these to build these cars. People call me to buy a project with a low budget in mind and I tell to pick a more genaric car with a better after market. I have a few so the parts are easy, except that stinkin' rocker chrome.
