KIJIJI SITE QUESTION

I get frustrated with the Kijiji site, on my computer... If I search anything Kijij it takes 3-5 minutes for the pictures to appear!  If I hit the next key, its another 3-5 minutes before it responds.. I have had my computer checked, and every other site, works instantly... IF I change Kijiji to ANY U.S. site,  It then works perfectly   fast just like E-Bay    ??????

It could be your internet provider. Who are you with?

I had the same problem on ebay and then I noticed there was a button at the top right of the page that allowed you to "opt out of the new search mode".  Once I did that everything was fine.  Maybe I have some deep buried cookie that likes the old version of ebay but doesn't like working with the new version?  Does kijiji have something similar?  Maybe you need to clear all your cookies and opt out of any new advanced versions?

I am with Bluewater Cable TV   Its hi speed cable.. The strange part is, that it works perfectly, when I search a U.S. city (which I don't usually search)  I have e-mailed Kijiji several times, and they keep asking, how I liked their response! (which is no response)  lol  I will just have to keep ignoring the site  I have enough stuff anyway!!!

Never had a problem with it and I'm always searching on it for deals.

Likely a problem with your system go to Run command type %temp% delete
everything then go to programs - accesories - system tools- disk cleanup  that
should help if you are running windows XP wink

try this click on (tools) and find your popup blocker settings then add kijiji to allowed sites and save , go to internet options in tools and delete browsing history or if you want to keep some files then specify what you want to delete
I use spybot as a free add-on scanner that helps keep things running smooth
It sounds like you have a cookie placed on your computer if you can't clean it thru windows tools -click: start, run, type cookies in the popup window, click ok
when a list of cookies come up press shift and left mouse button to highlight the ones you want to get rid of; BUT NOT (desktop ini, or index dat.) then right click mouse to delete once this is done you can run scan disk or a virus program
good luck
