Remember we all need to do our part to keep the economy going. In Alberta we value the ability to use copious quantities of dinosaur juice. Below is a quote from an e-mail I received today. biggrin.gif

"Please have a look at Ferrari Maserati of Alberta's latest Emailer by clicking on the following link. And, as we go forward into the new year, please remember to do your bit for the economy and your country by purchasing a luxury vehicle :)"

I have heard it said that he who has the most "cylinders available for use" WINS. winner.gifwinner.gif

While the Weiand tunnel ram intake is very impressive, check out the equally impressive album collection in the background.  I'm one of the few guys around that still has a turntable (not to mention an 8 track player to test the tapes for the players in my cars)

I love your collection of records, I only have one milk cart worth of it and about 60 CD's, I love Prog rock and Hard rock of the late 60's and 70's, I wish I had that many Ponchos !

i have a pretty good pile of lp,s i still listen to. I also have an 8-track, a teac reel to reel i use for recording my own music, and an odd cassette deck that uses cassettes about a 1/4 of the size of a vhs tape that was my dads, havent had a chance to fool arould with it yet. I have my own music room so i collect alot of vintage music related stuff even if its just neat to look at.

The weather sucks here tonight. At least a foot on the ground and still coming down. Took me 70 minutes to get home from work (usually takes 40). It wasn't the worse I've seen and people really didnt need to drive 20kmh in an 80 zone! Connie got stuck behind a driver also doing 20kmh in an 80. Only difference is he'd STOP on the highway for about 30 seconds(out of fear I guess) and then start back up again! Finally he stopped, and switched with his passenger. Connie thought things would improve. Nope. This guys stopped every 10 minutes, got out and cleaned the snow off his car!

I guess I better put the bias ply snows on the Laurentian!

I guess we can count ourselves lucky here in the far east. Not a hint of snow yet, temps throughout November in the 4 to 18 degree range, but quite a lot of rain this past week. No salt yet (though they do pile it on around here with very little prompting - all it takes is the lightest dusting of snow) so I can still drive one of my cars to storage this coming weekend.

We're counting each lucky day without snow. Went to Winnipeg tonight to the hockey game and was wishing I hadn't been so hasty taking the insurance off our nice SS. It would have been a perfect night for it.

But this is Manitoba and that can change in a heartbeat...

Light snowfall here in Peterboro' the last few days.. It's cold though and of course the furnace has picked this week to keep loosing it's pilot light flame after 15 years of trouble free operation.. It's a N-Gas boiler so w/ a new pilot tube and thermal coupler, hopefully all is well from here on?.

Great I'm not the only one w/ old LP's...or giant CD's as my kids call them!.
I've a few good ones including an early release Lynyrd Skynyrd Street Survivors album, some unopened Beatles and Zep ones also some autographed stuff..

Gas is 75.9 here this morning...maybe we'll see prices in the 60 cent range again!.
