Snow snow snow

I shovelled about a foot of snow yesterday and woke up to what looks like
another foot had fallen. This is WAY to early for this! I guess I should bite the bullet and buy a blower this year. furious

Careful with the four letter words on a family forum.

I know what you mean Todd. It's way too early and too much. We've got a little over 18" in the past week. I am not a fan of snow. The only winter sport I participate in is shovel.........I don't like it very much.
My neighbour said something to me this morning as he was putting his Harley away. "10 more paychecks 'til spring". That sounds better than 5 months.

Oh, wow! That looks like what I would expect to see here.

That's ok, you guys will likely be bragging about your 15 degree temps in a week or two.

Vern, play nice or Todd may kick you out of his sandbox!wink

All the way to Winnipeg and back last night I was thinking "Could have been in the nice car" but alas, no insurance on it now...

Maybe if this keeps up we can post pics of another Manitoba CP coffee night with almost no snow!

I am actualy considering a day trip out to our cabin in Ontario if this keeps up. Not that it's very warm, but a calm cold day is fine when there is so little snow to hinder a couple of little projects I could do out there.

Oh wait, after I intially posted this I remembered. That is in Ontario. There's likely a ton of snow at the cabin rofl.gif

I still had a bunch of leaves to rake. I guess they will wait until Spring. I got the all important path to the garage cleared away this morning. The snow in the driveway was almost knee deep (and I shoveled twice last night!). Thank God my neighbor with the snowblower did the end of the lane where the plow went by or I'd still be out there!

Left Palm beach this morning, temp was heading for 78 degrees, transfered flights at Philly and what the heck it's 26 and I can see my breath. Two minutes out of Philly and it's a winter wonderland below and all the way home. Minus 5 at PIA and of course when I get home snow to shovel, I guess my kids were too busy partying without Mom and Dad home. This is without a doubt the worst for me ever, I mean it was nice when I left and beautiful where I was, I even swam yesterday, and now this!

My boss just moved to Woodstock so he has an easy travel to go to our Stoney Creek office or London Office. He kept calling me and telling me how bad it was up that way. We got about 1 - 2 inches here at the most.

Thanks for the welcome back, and as far as reality goes, I read in the Palm Beach paper that the average single family house price has dropped to $3.5M during this ecomomic turndown. Donald Trump got out earlier in the year and sold his beach front place for $99,500,000! I've never seen so many Bentleys and Ferraris in my life and no snow of course!

Your right, time for a blower. How's the Park Ave in the snow?
Gotta be better than the S10!

Wow, I just checked our 10 day forecast and the first forecast snow is 10 days from now.

Not trying to rub it in, just pointing out this is exceptional for us. Makes the winter shorter.

This is 2 years in a row for early heavy snowfall around Woodstock/ Ingersoll.
I have played golf many times in late November in the late '90's, even into Dec. just to say we did. I think in '98-'99 the Turkey Point Golf Course only closed up for 5-6 weeks.

Snow??? What the heck is that?? LMAO, I had to work today, but the sun was out and the shop doors were open, was almost too hot. I think we hit 15*C today. Been extremely warm this fall. Can't wait for snow. LOL. We bought a 4x4 last year and it hasn't snowed since.

Ok, Here's a shot of the 4th green at the Palm Beach Golf and Country Club, that would be the Atlantic Ocean to the right, the Ritz Carlton exterior and some shots in of the interior and pool area, a shot or two of the public beach area, and the modest pool at the Palm Beach Resort and Beach Club, my digs for a week.

The weather has been quite good still here in the Fraser Valley of B.C.. Enough so that I had to go for a Saturday cruise. Sorry boys, I don't mean to rub it in. Salt for the roads is nowhere in site yet.
