As much as I dislike cars not made by the big 3, I have to say, THAT WAS GREAT!!!

My Laurentian could do that. I'd just have to adjust the tire pressures...

LOL... I own a Subaru I don't think tire pressures are going to get your car to drift like that..But really cool vid.

That is the same basic engine that is in all Subarus these days - a 2.5 litre flat four, although it probably has a little more boost going through the turbo than mine does.wink

Seriously though, you can add about 75 wheel horsepower to the standard turbo engine (250 hp) by doing 3 things, removing 2 out of the 3! cats in the exhaust system, putting on a larger intercooler and dialing up the boost in the turbo by about 6 pounds.  I'll let you know how it turns out after I do mine next spring.sprint.gif

GM used to own 25% of Subaru until a couple of years ago when it had to start selling everything off to start raising cash.  It's too bad, it's one of the investments they would have been better off keeping in the long run.  Instead they kept Saab, and we all know how well that has worked out for their bottom line.ashamed

....and on top of all of that the flat 4 sounds downright nasty. nod.gif

Accually yes there is. Not a high end one but one that was a whole lot of fun. Frontier Subaru took some of us to this school for a day at St andrews airport. and let up on the runway with four new WRX's and have at a course that had a  skid pad, e-brake pad , and highspeed 360's all on a icy snow covered runway...Oh that was a fun daybiggrin
