Anybody out west coming to Ontario this winter or spring ? It's probably in better shape underneath than 90% of the ones around here. If it were around here I'd own it!  sixtywagon, wanna drive it back east?

There is a guy in Winnipeg who has a black 77 TA with under 40000 miles. It has 6.6 t tops factory CB, PW, PB, 4 speed, tilt , cruse, air and all the other toys . He never drives it just sits there collecting dust with his other 45 or 50 cars.

Hey, I was thinking I may take a trip back to Peterborough, maybe this spring.  Haven't really thought it thru though. Usually fly back home, but a road trip might be interesting. have to see when I could get vacation time..

Thought about that too, I think it would make it, I'd have to fix the gas gauge though and maybe ad a spare tire. It would be awfully long drive, at about 65-70 mph...LOL

Looks like a winner for the dough also don't the turbo cars have the rear discs?.

smile

And sweet Sally...as a kid I loved her too but always felt guilty somehow when she was flying around in the nun outfit..

Theres a lot of hype but all in all they are still a tough sell too many people still thinking the ones for 5-$6000 are good, they are all $500 buyers-I sold two this year a 77 Black/Black SE 400 4-speed with hurst hatch and A/c complete project with rebuilt engine/trans, undercarriage done @ $3500 and thats about the cream of the crop when it comes to Bandit stuff, the other was a 78 black on gold 400 auto t-top a/c car parially disassembled, original paint with original bill of sale-the flor and frame rails were still shiny black paint, great body needing done with restored wheels and all the parts for $3000 !

I have lots parts for 77/78 cars and all the buyers have $20 in their pocket, Americans see these cars for what they are but it hasn't truly come on mainstream here yet-hard to believe its already 30 years ago !

Turbo cars are hard to build-parts are hard to come by, I believe disc brakes were still optional

good value @ $900 shipping sends it over the top.

I think i probably paid more than i should have for mine. Not that i paid a lot, but what you list as prices you've sold those ones for Ken, i should have talked the seller down more. Oh well, i didn't break the bank on it, and i have only seen one or two others like it at the same price but not exactly the same. I wanted it so i paid for it, within reason. Parts are plentiful though for the most part, so that's a plus. And already have most of the hard to find bits so again, a plus.

Randy, yours is the next generation-in this price range its hard to make a mistake-if you drive it a couple summers-its covered its cost, I'm just saying some guys see these late 70's early 80's as steals when they are in project form yet they are not really worth much more (worth being the amount the current market will bear)

Ken

If the floors & frame rails aren't rusted out I'll pay $1600 for it delivered to s-w Ontario.

Call Ross Wood-if it runs/drives and has brakes he might be able to do it if you can negotiate the TA some. Theres also Ed's project cars out there-he's shipping all the time might be able to cut a good deal.
