66 ACADIAN

New to this whole Acadian think. Where is a good place to look for front fenders and rear quarders. Are the front ends as bad as people say they are.

I hope you have alot of time for reading:

click

Lots of info on front suspension/steering/brakes whether you want stock, upgraded, rack and pinion kit, disc brakes, tubular lower control arm kit, aftermarket clip etc...

From what I've read over the years, the stock front ends are not that bad if they're rebuilt with the right stuff. Also depends on the direction of the build and amount of $$$$ of course.

I know I heard more than once that the early run of fenders fit poorly. Seems to me I heard though that the newest fenders are better.

Some of the dies were almost worn out, a friend of mine bought cross canada parts and there were almost no body lines in the panels, very disappointing.

I think the new ones coming in from cross canada are a lot better. I know the GM truck front fenders and Dodge truck floor pans are Ok for fit now. I have used both and they fit reasonably well.
