Glad you asked him! I was going to.

I had one that someone said had come out of a Beaumont and it said Pontiac on it. I suspect his is going to say the same.

Finally a Beaumont part that says Pontiac on it, if that is the case!!!

65beau, I hope you will still be happy to visit with us here. Everyone has a different idea of what they like, but I think the group here really appreciates seeing all of the different cars, accessories and plans that people have.
Also please remember that we sometimes post something with entirely good intentions, but it then causes someone to be upset. I have done it myself.
Your information about the AM/FM is awesome.

Rick

I don't think anyone has meant to say anything to upset you. It's often difficult when we type things as you can't see the expression on the authors face. It's very easy to misconstrue the intentions of a message. I've been guilty of that several times.

this coming from someone that posted "mine is better for less $" ?

I was helping someone sell-or letting the world know its out there-quality or value is all in the hands of the beholder.

okay what happened? where did the picts go, its hard to follow a thread after someone has gone back and deleted or altered earlier post.

i have the backup deletes on my 63 wagon too. one was bent but i found a couple on an 65 invader wagon in a wrecking yard. did all the acadians use the same delete plate?

As far as I've seen, the Acadians and Beaumonts before 66 were all the same, yup.

65 Beaumonts use the same back up delete as the 65 chevelles

64 beaumonts and early acadians (62-65) use the unique "pointy-at-the-ends" ones.

Trivia note:  65 and 67 chevelles use the same back up lights(beaumonts too).
