That is such a "colorfull" picture!.. Do you remember the Lincoln getting crused, and it being loaded into Ranchero?  Would Lincoln with gold in trunk not weighted 5-6000 lbs..  lol

When 2 Lane Blacktop came out the '55 was my favorite, even more so after seeing American Grafitti as I was born in 55. A guy in Woodstock bought one of the 55 movie cars in 76 or 77 . It was one of the camera cars I think. He brought it back from California. Man was it rough!
Now that I'm older I've been more into the '70 GTO that Warren Oates drove. Next would have to be the Bullitt Mustang. I bought one similar back in '74. It was Highland green, black int. 390 Auto. GTA.

Hi 427 Carl. It's an addiction I've never been cured of! I had over 100 cars before I turned 19. No wonder I'm always broke. Jill & I have been together for 10 years and she can't even remember how many since then. One of my biggest regrets is throwing out all my stuff with pic's during one of my many moves in the 80's. A lot of them old cars were just dirt cheap clunkers back then. I never had the foresight or funds to keep some of the more valuable ones. Especially during the late '70's when old muscle cars from the '60's and early '70's were more of a burden than an asset.
Younger guys just look at you like your lying when  I tell them about $1400 Hemi Chargers, SS 396 Chevelles, and GTO's

Very nice GTO! This is what a lot of the better kept used muscle cars looked like at about '79. Around here there was always rust showing on most of them plus a few dents by then.
What's the story on it?

Yes, its the GTO from the movie The Punisher.
Not sure the story of the car, but the movie was created not too long ago. Was just an average car for him I guess and wanted the character to look cooler and tougher probably.

But once I seen that car, It's what got me into classic cars even further. A LOT further. I started searching US, then Canadian classic cars, the cars that looked similar such as a Lemans, Then I learned more on Catalina's, Bonneville's, Laurentian's and Parisienne's, than I got into other classic cars and realized just how amazing classic cars are. Not just the popular Chevelles, GTOs, Mustangs Camaro's, and Chargers, but I got interested in A LOT of others, and others that 'aren't as popular' as some may say. To be honest, I got more interested in a 69 Parisienne than the Mustang or Camaro! But anyway... seeing that car in that movie, just made me get into the hobby even more. And up until now, I still can't stop searching for classic cars!

I believe you as in 1974 I paid $1800 for my 1969 caprice 2 dr hardtop 427-4 speed. Rust free car with a few dints and poor paint. Black with a white vinyl roof bucket seats and consule with a hurst shifter. Thats the car I brought my son home from the hospital when he was born. I sold it a year later to get some cash together to buy a lot in a new subdivision to build a house. Replaced it with a 1967 chevelle 2 dr sedan 283 powerglide which cost $400.  A fully serviced lot 58 x 100 was $ 16,800 back then. Today over $50,000 for the same size lot here in Timmins.

I could spend lots of time on that site checking out all the cars, especially the off beat ones. Imagine the time to put it all together. Anyway, so many movie cars, so hard to choose. I really can't pick just one. I like them all too much!
