My cousin bought one that looks identical, he barely drove it as well and his still is in his stable too. I recall the first time I drove that wankel rotary engine it felt like it had an unlimited top end and could rev forever. That will make someone very happy.
I sold my cousins 86 a couple years back-his was low kms and never in the winter-he's a doctor so he barely used the toy-It was a really tough sell-I recalled getting $2500 and a toy pedal tractor for my son !
I believe when he bought it new it was comparable in price to a new Corvette ! imagine the difference in value twenty years later
Ya the next generation started in 86 they were lemons sadly and not worth much the first and third are where the money is, not that fast off the line but when that rotary starts to turn look out
