In 1995, I was sponsoring, the Grand Bend Motoplex managers,71 Orange Camaro.. He booked in the Little Red Wagon, and invited him, to show it off at our tire shop in Exeter... Bill Maverick was 61, at the time He had a girlfriend, with him who was 18.. I told him of remembering him at the track in 1969.... He got married a few years ago, and has a website... It was as close as I would ever get, to a racing celeb.

I've got two versions of the plastic model kit here...a reproduction from 1993 that gives you decals when it originally ran and the ones that include "the original wheelstander". The other is the original mid 60's IMC kit, unbuilt with everything, decals, instructions and most of the plastic still on the trees.
Good stuff He was/is a nice fellow much into health stuff.. His old Dodge 1 ton needed tires, and the front tires on the Hemi were weather cracked.. I hope his truck goes to BJ someday, and it brings a million.... He is just a reg guy like us..
