Merry Christmas to all of you's ! I got myself my own present, I bought an electric impact wrench 1/2 " drive 230 ft-pd torque, on sale at Crappy Tire instead of the weaker one at Princess Auto, it will be an asset for dismantling parts cars rearends, bumpers...in the coming new year.
My parents bought me a hat-yes a hat like the one my Dad weres-I always liked them but was never quite old enough for one-at 40 I have one !!! my boys and my wife hate it.
Heres the hat ! and my Dad !
I've been driving Buick Roadmasters since I was 35-but then I'm bald too !
I got 2 new Cragers, i put them on the same side so it looks like I have 4, new B&M shifter, a roll of black diamond tuft. In my sock, got a new roll of black electrical tape for those wires that hang down from under my dash that i have no clue what theyre for. The kids got me the Canadian Tire go fast under the hood chrome package, neat. The big bonus was the top of the line 129 dollar paint job gift certificate from Macco , not the 99dollar paint. Maybe I can win a bowling trophy in the spring with my (restored) car. she'll be a beauty. All jacked up in the rear, sweet! just need a can of bondo to fix the A/C (holes)
Sounds like you really scored this christmas!! If you want to stretch that $129 at maaco, you can a do a lot of prep before you bring it there, take off the trim, they'll love you for it!
After its done 65Beau, you should post some pics for us!! What colour are you planning? In these tough economic times a reasonable paint job is a great way to save some $$$!
Sounds like everyone got "kool" stuff. I got normal stuff like socks and shirts, but also got a new book called Art of the HOT ROD. It has beautiful pictures that I drool over.
Rick

Remember, "The Government" only has money confiscated from us.
I haven't been on here much the last few days. I hope everyone had a chance to spend meaningful time with their friends and loved ones over Christmas and celebrate the true meaning of this holiday. Linus still says it the best:
