Best Source for Ball Joints?

Looking to buy upper and lower ball joints for my Laurentian? Can anyone recommend a particular brand?

Thx
Todd

Do you still have connections at a GM dealer? AC Delco has an excellent product, excellent price. If not, send me a PM. I can fix you upwink

And I second the motion on cheap white box crap. Partsmaster and that kind of stuff is good today and worn out tomorrow.

If you have trouble coming up with AC Delco part numbers just let me know.

Also, I think the OEM pieces are still available but they are likely a lot more money.

Are your uppers still the original riveted joints?

Yes, all of them are original. I believe I'll have to drill out the rivet holes for the larger bolts?

Most likely, yes. As far as I've seen even the OEM replacement joints come that way as well.

Of course if you're my neighbour with the restored 67 SD 396, you search until you find the right rivets and put in replacement ball joints with rivets so they still look original. He's the same guy who put the runs in the paint on his front inner fenders to duplicate the runs in the factory paint...
