Rather than clutter up the "trivia" thread where this was discussed, I thought I would post it here. (Thanks to 67SD396 for finding this online.) If I am not allowed to reproduce it here or whatever this is called, I will take it down and post the link to it rather.

In the trivia thread I posted a question with the correct answer being it was the only one with houndstooth interior. However, someone came on and said there is one not on the list that was sold in Ontario. Very interesting...........
Never say never!

I think what was said is the car was shipped to Whitby, Onatrio to be near Mosport in case the engine was needed for a race. There was no evidence it was sold in Ontario in that thread imo.
I have heard on the yenko site that there is a 69 ZL1 here in Manitoba somewhere??? I tried to get more info but the owner likes his privacy.

Really? Hadn't heard that but I heard there is a crashed 69 COPO that has been sitting forever. Same deal. I know rough area but the owner won't come out of the woods!

So it is one of the listed units? Any idea which one?
Just my idea but it was probably one of those in a nieghbouring state, New York would make the most sense but I can't see one in New York, the next closest would be Michigan and I also see Rhode Island and Illionois listed. If the motor was needed the car was probably destroyed, if not probably sent back to the US.
on page 3 or so he updated the story, the car has a CE block.
