Hi All:

I just signed up after asking about the valve covers on another forum and I was directed over here.

I have a valve cover collection that consist's of embossed covers. I am looking for one or a pair of these to add to my collection.

They are, I believe from a 55 or 56 Pontiac V/8 and are basicilly Chevrolet small block with the pontiac name embossed on them.

I can't figure out how to post pics over here otherwise I would have posted a picture of what I am lookin for.

You can however see it on the photos of my collection.

 Hey Bob, and welcome!! Just made your link live and if the pics are on your hard drive, click the "attach images", browse and upload from there. When finished with the pics, "upload files", then wait..When it is done, hit "insert" and say "ok" (to make the pics bigger) and click "submit post". You should be good to go....I put the pic here as well!!!

I think that 62 was the last year that the name was carried on the covers like this. I have a set from a 62 Parisienne, & they have a PONTIAC decal on them, but look the same as in this photo except they are Chevrolet orange.

Welcome to the site. You collection of valve covers is very impressive and I enjoyed viewing them. I have one 55 Pontiac valve cover with the staggered bolt holes in the storage shed . If you don't find some from somewhere else I'll donate to your collection.
