hey anybody see the 82 buick Park Ave posted in St Catharines and Hamilton for $1000-its a bargain-I used to own it, orig paint, 110,000 kms, I bought it from the orig family-sold it too cheap when gas prices were high @ $1800-he seems frustrated with some of the power options selling at $1000 ! I remember some of the wires in the driver's door breaking thin-likely all thats wrong-the car was a non smoker-but I think the present owner smokes so that nice interior may seem a little now
I might have a buyer for that.....do you think it is longer than my Fleetwood?
Are you interested Ray? If so I wouldnt mind coming with you to see it.
Not me, I know someone who loves Olds, he had a 1964 Dynamic 88 when were in high school. He's had a few big ones too, 76 Fleetwood and 75 Electra, two Trofeos in his driveway right now.
As Astro Jet has said, if you have never driven one or driven in one probably in the top 5 all time best riding cars. I drove my Fleetwood yesterday, first time any trip of note in months, it's addictive!
I remember in about 1978 a friend of mine's parents had a 78 Delta 88. His grandparents had a 98. Both were the smoothest cars I ever road in. I loved that pillowed velour interior!
FIL had a Park Avenue, all our friends ask me to drive that car to their weddings, driving the wedding party around, a lot cheaper than a limo and basically a limo.

Had a 66 "98" LS, which was Luxury Sedan, and it was a beautiful riding car. Had lots of power too from the 425 in it. The next step up would be a Limo.

Hey 57Poncho, no disrespect but Boat does not begin to describe these babies. I prefer to but them in at least the Crusier class and depending on year more likely a Battleship or Flattop desribes them more acurately.

Hey! I had a wonderfull idea? All MTO driving tests, are to be done with a 98Olds/Caddy !! What a hoot Here in Clinton, there are at least 5-6 Corollas, full of 5-6 people each, all driving around all the streets of Clinton, "including my own" practising for their licence!!!! They are here EVERYDAY, as they can get in months earlier than TORONTO Its amazing that they can pass the "written tests" w/o speaking English!!!! What a wonderfull place, Canada is!!! anyway they would be fun to watch parallell parking a 98 OLDS
