I have one of those in storage right now. Currently painted red, it is supposed to be code 48 Forest Green. It had a Hurst shifter in it when I got it, never really noticed that the throw was that long. Originally delivered in Saskatchewan, it took the round about route to Ontario through BC. It's in very good shape, but I would probably still do the quarters. It goes like a scalded cat. It is supposed to have a 3.31 posi in it, but I wonder if someone upgraded the gears?

A buddy of mine in Nova Scotia had a 2 dr post the same as this, minus the stripes. His had a green interior. I remember him having a hard time selling it, he ended up trading for 69 hardtop with a console automatic. I told him to keep the green stripper but he thought the white hardtop/automatic was cooler. There was a lot of cheapo model GM's sold in Nova Scotia back then. Seen a lot of Camaros with dog dishes and column shifts also.

Vernes' truck had the stock shifter. I would think your Hurst, has a shorter throw.. His truck wheel hooped soo bad, it was almost (hard)undrivable I got him a set of Geniune Susp "S" bars that effectively lowered the bottom trailing arm down and made it a traction bar.. TRuck would leave 2 long stripes after that ran 13.6 in St Thomas
