Car was 343 4 Spd totally original and very restorable,talk about an intresting bunch of AMC guys who came to look @ it when I had it for sale.

Car ended up out West Canada.This car came from within 3 blocks from my house,I actually found another one within the same area but have not heard back from the owner.

68-70 Javelin was as nice a pony car as any of the manufacturers had in those years, maybe not as powerful, but it left nothing to be desired in terms of style.

No other pony car even comes close to a 70-74 Trans Am period.Pontiac was the greatest performance car company,every line had a performance car and then throw in our Canadian market cars.

A matter of personal taste. Performance wise I agree. These cars had handling and power, in a more refined package than most of the competiton. Styling wise, they had lots of competition from the Camaro, Challenger, etc. My favorite Pontiac from that series is the 74 SD.
