Spacer G series

Chevrolet & GMC   vans of the 70's/80's with 350 V8s'  had a metal spacer under the air breather      I have one hanging somewhere (cant find it)  Anyone got one hanging around???

Boy, I used to. Is it the same as the 70'ish 1/2 ton had? I used to have the one leftover from my 70 1/2 ton 402.

car8l.jpgYou guys with the full sized cars have small problems, being able to use a spacer that is common to many vehicles. I paid a lot of bucks for a dropped base air cleaner to clear the hood in my compact Acadian. biggrin

The 427 car has the L72 style air breather, and doesn,t need a spacer, since I am not running HEI   the spacer I need, is for my Acadian cousin Ventura II with the 327 and HEI    biggrin

Ahhh, the HEI, combined with a low-riser intake? Or am I not seeing things right? Where is the interference?

The air cleaner on the left engine, is the "style" going on the right engine, which "NOW" has HEI..   and the cleaner needs a spacer... When I bought the car from Oregon, it was on e-bay, with that picture (red wires) and when it arrived, it had new black MSD and new billet MSD HEI  biggrin

Been there, done that. The base I used on my 427 was from a Corvette.
