I never heard of a two-four until I ordered a case and a half of beer (thinking I was going to get 18 total) at a Brewers Retail in Hanover Ontario and out came a huge box (a two-four), and a 12 pack.   My buddy and I weren't quite that thirsty - eh.  And there was no snowbank around to keep the extras cold.
