My condolences. I've never had a Honda, but got rid of my 87 Celica at roughly 345k, it was leaking oil like crazy but still running. I hope i get another 100k out of my Corolla.

I would buy another Honda civic, some of the Saturns were real lemons, one of my buddy went through hell with his back in 2000. My 97 civic has 243000 Kms now and still going, hopefully I'll keep it till 300.

A customer rolled in today with his 07 Camry. Said the brake light was coming on when slowing down. 67000kms. Nope, not the brake light. How about the oil light? No oil on the dipstick. No oil change in 25k...

Here's a good one.
An old lady who "no speek english" came in the other day complaining of "no air warm" and "no air from here" as she pointed to the centre vents. I showed her how to turn the dial to the red (for warm) and how to turn the other dial so it points to the center vents.
How do these folks get drivers licenses?

Had an 89 Civic, never a problem, but couldn't pass the Out Of Province inspection, Drove it til I had 3 no registration tickets the sold it to a friend for a parts car.  Also had an 86 Corolla GTS, AWESOME car, very quick and easy to slide around in...LOL, then came my 94 Saturn, had 325Kms , on her and ran great, that was also an excellent winter beater...

Remember the cars in Clinton, all day, every day, in the week?..  The testers here are retired Ont Hydro guys, and a lady, who tests the transport truck drivers (She cant'drive one)  They(the no English customers) memorize the test, cause they can't read English  They are good though, as there are 3 tests...  2-3 days in Canada, and they have full Health ins, a income, and a Corolla...lol   What  a wonderfull country!...Makes you wonder WHERE the homeless in Toronto are from?

I was wondering if you were at work today.  My wife and I finally went to check out the new Tepperman's this morning.  I thought i'd go over and look at some of the cars on the lot.  Those new Corolla's look huge compared to my 01'.  They come with traction control optional?  My wife still likes the Prius, i'm just not a fan at all.  Saw a gold Camry in the back that i liked.

You should have stopped in and said hi! I was there until 4. I'm pretty certain traction control is available. I never get "schooled" on some of the new car features until a customer comes in asking how they work!

When I was in the bodyshop at the local GM dealer an old woman came in with a 68 Pontiac Parisenne 2-door hardtop 327 auto, she's tired of driving the big car, to hard on gas, always tuning it up, starting to rust (this is in the early 1990's) so a salemen sells her a new pontiac sunbird which she just loves-the saleman tells her how great these cars are compared to the old ones-you don't have to do anything they are fully electronic and the car has a great warranty if something did go wrong. The old 68 sells the first day on the back row-one week later she is back crying car on the hook it won't run no way no how, cranks and cranks but thats it ! how disappointing after having that 68 all those years-mechanic checks it out only to tell her theres no gas in it ! she says "no need gas fully electronic !" this is a true storey !

When I was 14 years old I was visiting my grand parents in Cape Breton, we stayed at my uncle's place-my cousin had a 72 Lemans Sport 2-door hartop 350 chevy, buckets/console anyway she stops for gas the attendant checks the oil and tells her he needs to add 4 liters (quarts whatever) she comes home and tells me not to tell her Dad but she is wondering its due for and oil change should she still do it ? she was 18 !

A Camry is $32,000 ! Wow not cheaper than the big three are they, but then again if they run without oil !

My cousin had no expression either just hoping she wasn't in trouble with her Dad
