Some pics of my 67 project. The camino is my son's 66, and the red 66ss396 is my next project.
-- Edited by Elroy at 16:06, 2009-01-14 The story:I bought the car from a friend in Red Deer. It was bought new in Leduc, Ab. as a special order car. Its a Bolero Red, white interior , white top car with no other special options. The car had a light restoration & years ago the 427 4speed was swapped for an automatic/396 and it was painted a candy apple red. The car was sold a couple times , back to northern Alberta and then restored again with a complete engine/trans front end rebuild. I have found the 427 block and the complete console, stock shifter and pedals.A complete frame-off is in the plans. The docs from GM claim "less than 13 M20, L36 2+2 convertibles were built ". It runs great and drives pretty tight for the big boat it is !

Hi : My paperwork from GM says : 1434 2+2 rags for 1967 and less than 13 had the L36 385HP 427 & M20 4 gear . I wonder how many automatic L36 cars were made ??
Thanks for the cool pics Carl! Interesting look with the Buick rims. Thats pretty close to my car actually, its a bolero red car originally with the white top and white interior. Betchya wish you had that one still !
Thanks for the post, that's the way i read it as well. There are no exterior markings of the 427, totally a sleeper car until you pop the hood. The 427 air cleaner decal is about it as far as i can see. Anyone know where i can find a new decal for my restoration ?
