the 65 Parisienne conv. is now finished .. what can i do? Enjoy the summer, yes!! But what to do in winter time??
I just done it. Crazy, yes i know...but i love the classic Pontiac!! ..so i bought for a few bucks in Arizona, Kingman this 65 Bonneville . Great solid rust free Arizona car..a few dents.. runs in early times in LA later in Hualapi reservation in Arizona. Sitting Bull was the driver... The car looks poor and sun burned but it`s a great project car.. I have disassembled the car and will rebuild the strong and great 389 4 bbl with stock 325 hp.. i have bought many new parts for the engine.. a 068 cam and many nice parts.. a real torque machine ...i will let the car like it is.. all technical will be rebuild, the interieur will done with orginal parts, but i like to let the outer like it is.. yes the "beauty parisienne c/s conv and the Bonneville beast" Crazy ... I love it!!

Hi friends, i like to show you some progress of the last time on my 65 Bonneville desert "tank". I still like to keep the car orginal as possible, useing only good orginal parts on no repro or anything else... here are some more pics of engine rebuilding , inside work and some further pics... I tried a first short ride through our neightbourhood .. and the engine is running grrrrrrrrrrrrr.. big bad Pontiac power ..not sure how much HP the 389 4bbl with the 068 cam has but it runs great. have a great time and still keep us posted! Cheers, Bjoern

Crazy ....in a good way! How expensive is it to ship a car from Arizona to Germany? The photos sure show how the Bonneville is longer than the Parisienne. Good Luck with the project.
yes thats all very expensive ,, shipping and tax was same as the car.. I spend much money in my both cars, but they are worth .. A nice 65 Parisienne convertible was just sold in south Germany for 15000 EUR ..that s around 23000 USD !! So it`s not lost money, if you understand what i mean.. But i don`t will sell the Parisienne or the Bonneville.. live can be to short.. so we live today! it makes much fun on germany highways and classic car meets with these old nice cars..
That 65 Bonneville is a really nice car and no kidding rust free. Nice to see people with a love for these old cars from other countries . And welcome aboard

Wow, another great acquistion! Now you will be able to see first hand the differences and the similarities between Canadian Ponchos and their American cousins. I'm sure you will really enjoy the Bonneville when it is done - you are rapidly becoming the Pontiac Meister of Germany! What kind of transmission does the Bonneville have?

Where do you find parts??? My cousin over in Germany had to get something outa the USA, but they wouldn't ship. So I got it shipped to Canada and forwarded to him.
Hi, shipping is difficult than ever... USPS doesn`t ship big parts anymore .. so you have to try UPS .. UPS is very expensive... i just bought an front bench seat and shipping with UPS will be around 1200 USD for the bench in two big parcels.. no way ..
FedEx is always a good choice , too, cheap and fast and uncomplicated ..
