This is a super solid driver, runs and drives with only 70,000 miles.Car was off road for 25 years but was driven around the block once in a while by the Old guy who owned it.I will post pics later today.Car was originally Mist Blue (painted white in the late 70's) with Blue interior and White top.Car is complete and untouched.I put radials on it,it has good exhaust needs small amount of brake work (one rear wheelcylinder and shoes) and lower ball-joint on DS.has rust through on DS front bumper section (this piece un-bolts) and a scrape on the PS front bumper.Only rust/repair was done when the car was painted white and is on both sides behind the rear wheels below the lower beltline, these repairs are holding out for a driver but would require repair to repaint the car.
Not trying to "pollute" our Pontiac site but I have had a string of "A"holes waste my time about this car, just thought that maybe a good Pontiac person would now a good Cadillac person who is looking.
You can never have enough Cadillacs BTW 65beau, first year for Northstar was 92 for 93 Allante.
The Northstar is basically a racing engine detuned to 300 HP for the street. It evolved from Chevrolet's Indy program with Lotus and then was designated as the LT5 in the Corvette ZR-1 eventually becoming the Cadillac premium V engine. While known for Cadillac the 4.6 Northstar has also powered the Pontiac Bonneville GXP and Buick Lucerne and in 4.0 V8 form the Olds Aurora. It was designed for a maximum displacement of 5.4 litres. In V6 form it powers many Cadillacs and GM premium cars and we might find a Cadillac engine in the new Camaro too. V6 is rated at 304 HP.
Don't worry Ian, Ray leads the Caddy sub-cult on here. there's even been talk of a separate Caddy sub-forum!
Oh Hillar, I see it is time for Hamish Kitchen, fish and chips Friday!
I'm in Collingwood right now, just about to hit the slopes for the afternoon so I will have to take a rain-check, but I will definitely look forward to getting the RAY V.I.P. treatment!

Ian, do the tailights work? The reason I ask is that I had a 66 Cadillac and it's a major job to change the bulbs. The bumper has to be removed. The stylists didn't want to show and screw heads so the great idea they came up with was to have the lens' screw on from the inside. Only problem is there is no trunk access to change the bulbs! Wanna trade it for a 2000 Bonneville SSEi?
